About Fishin' for a Mission
We have always had a heart for outreach in our community & a love for fishing. In 2014, God gave Brian the idea of having a fishing tournament to raise money for local mission organizations. And that's where Fishin' for a Mission began! Our purpose is to raise money to support local non-profit organizations in order to help them further their reach to those in need. During our inaugural tournament in 2015, we were able to raise $1,400 for Soul Food Cafe Mission (SFCM), a faith-based, though nondenominational, non-profit organization located in Conway, Arkansas. SFCM provides regular & USDA food boxes, health & beauty aids, clothing, haircuts, furnishings & applicances, continental breakfast & a hot lunch to individuals & families, along with ministering to their spiritual needs.
